IS A CHEAT DAY OKAY WHEN LIVING A RESTRICTED DIET?
IS IT OKAY TO HAVE CHEAT DAYS OR CHEAT MEALS WHEN YOU ARE ON A RESTRICTED DIET?? Well, if you are on a healthy diet you would have somehow felt how it is impossible to stick to a diet 100 percent of the time especially when you’re on a vegetarian diet that completely restricts animal products in your diet. But there’s a day when you’re out with your friends on a BBQ restaurant that only offers meat-based foods in the menu and you tried to resist the urge because you insist that it can only derail your healthy goals, but then again you are tempted to go for a ‘cheat day’. While it might seem like you are breaking the purpose of being in a strict diet, there is nothing wrong with indulging in a certain food every once in a while. Because every once in a while our body needs a break from all the healthy diet we do on a daily, as it’s okay to give ourselves a temporary break from all the strict diet rules we’ve been following and allow us to have a ‘cheat day’ to indulge in especially when the holiday is just around the corner and you have all those feasting foods on the table you crave for. As long as you know you are deserving of a day of a cheat meal and you don’t overdo it, you can sit back and enjoy the holiday as a special day with your family and enjoy your cheat meals with maximum enjoyment and minimal guilt.
