Do you ever come across people who, no matter what life throws at them, are still upbeat? Although individuals may be genetically inclined toward happiness, these individuals are more likely to have found more of the things that make them happy in life and use them to their advantage.

It’s so interesting to have happiness, and we all have different opinions on what it is and how to get it. It’s also no surprise that if you talk to people about happiness, they will surely say that it is one of the important things to achieve in life.

here are the 6 ways to keep you happy all the time:

1. Spend time with your family and friends.

When it comes to enhancing our happiness, even for introverts, social time is highly important. Several studies have shown that time spent with friends and family makes a major difference, in general, in how happy we feel.

2. Convey your appreciation and thankfulness actively.

In one research, couples who expressed gratitude in their experiences with each other experienced improved communication and satisfaction with relationships the next day, and that extended to both the person who expressed gratitude and the person who received it.

Another quick way to promote thankfulness is to write down a few things that you are grateful for, every night. Another research found that after 10 weeks, individuals who wrote down five items they were grateful for once a week were 25 percent happier. They significantly increased their set-point of happiness, in consequence. It will also remind you that you’ve already achieved a lot, even though you still have big dreams and can feel truly proud.

3. Laugh every single day

Do you spend time laughing each day? Do you find happy stuff to joke about on purpose? You release happy hormones called oxytocin and endorphins when you laugh. These are hormones that, when we share experiences with others, uplift us.
